Welcome to the Jeet Kune Do Athletic Association (JKDAA), where martial arts, philosophy, and a way of life converge. At the helm of the JKD Foundations course is Sifu Clay Pratka, Senior Training Officer, personally chosen and entrusted by Sifu Singh to guide you on this transformative journey.
Sifu Clay’s journey in Jeet Kune Do began at age 10, and he has spent the last 19 years studying under Sifu Singh, including time as a live-in student. Through countless hours of private training, he mastered the progressions, teaching methods, and advanced techniques that form the bedrock of JKD. Sifu Clay has since applied these methods to train and develop high-level martial artists from scratch. As the bridge between you and Sifu Singh, Sifu Clay brings Sifu Singh’s wisdom directly to your journey, bridging the gap between where you are and where you aspire to be.
Jeet Kune Do is more than a martial art; it is a philosophy and a way of being. Under Sifu Singh's guidance, the JKDAA Foundations course aims to bring JKD back to its place as one of the world’s premier disciplines. Sifu Singh's philosophy is simple but profound: “It should take you 3 years to become dangerous, and then you can spend the rest of your life developing as an artist.” The Foundations course sets you on this path, laying the groundwork for a lifetime of exploration, self-mastery, and growth.
Led by Sifu Clay Pratka, whose decades of dedication make him the ideal guide, the course is invaluable to both newcomers and seasoned practitioners
